I have older pale stretch marks though and they are not fading at all really, but I have faith that they will eventually- Maybe Ill up the usage amount to 3 times a day but overall this is a really great product on new stretch marks. I started seeing results in just a few days! excellent product!! 9 of 9 found this review helpful: Great product! , 2008-02-21 I used several stretch mark prevention products when I was pregnant and guess what -- I got stretch marks! Lots of them on my belly and a few on my hips and thighs. After having the baby and seeing my body - I couldn't believe how much damage was done. Since I wasn't successful in preventing them, I didn't know how successful I would be in getting them to fade. I read the reviews of this product and others. I was ready to throw some big money away and buy some of the others. Luckily, I chose to try this one first and I couldn't be happier. The small numerous stretch marks that I have on my belly have really faded and can hardly even tell they are there. I'm really pleased! I have a few really deep ones lower on my belly that it's even helped fade them also and don't look so deep and gross. The ones on my hips and thighs were really purple and with this treatment, they have begun to fade also. I've been using this product for over a month now -- once a day. I bet if I used it twice a day like they recommend, my results would be even better. I will be a faithful customer to this product, due to the way it works and the price certainly helps! I'm getting ready to re-order just to always have it in stock! I really couldn't stand looking at my body after having the baby and seeing all the hideous stretch marks. This product has given me back some of my self esteem and I'm very grateful! 2 of 2 found this review helpful: Much Improved!!, 2008-02-09 I am fair-skinned with both new and old stretch marks on my hips, stomach and sides. I have tried many of these creams with not a significant result until I tried Dermactin. Prior to this I had been using Striadril (the supposed generic for strivectin) though it was $25 for only 2oz of product. I have been using Dermactin for the past 3 months only once a day at night. It has significantly decreased the discoloration, texture and overall appearance of all my stretch marks. I continue to see results, so I will definitely keep using this product. 7 of 13 found this review helpful: Two Thumbs Up!, 2007-03-16 As a previous user of their concurent Str****, i must say that when Dermactin arrived today in my mail i was both anxious and resigned at the same time. I was anxious to see what it can do (even though it is waaay cheaper than the Str***, i bought it because of its good reviews) and resigned because i didn't see too many results while i was using the expensive "version", so....why would the cheaper one work. I am a ferocius consumer (we live in a society that imposes us certain things, even if we don't like to addmit that) when it comes to beauty products and i don't believe in what's said unless i have tried it myself. So after spending lots of money on similar products and not getting much i wanted to see what people say about Dermactin before purchasing it. It wasn't because of the "huge" financial investement it required, but i didn't want to expect too much and then be disappointed, again. So, i tried it. I must say that it smells the EXACT same way as the Str****. Must be that secret ingredient that's in both of them. I have stretch marks on my hips due to stupid diets i did while i was a teenager. I was never fat, chubby or overweight, but i always thought i could do better. And this yoyo led to my stretch marks. Because i did not treat them in time (while they were more shallow and reddish, not white) removing them using creams became quite impossible, but i can diminish them or stop them from stratching any further. I used Dermactin and immediately i saw that they...i wouldn't say disappeared, but they were definitely less visible, i would say they were up to 75% less visible. Stri*** had the same effect when i used it first time, problem was it didn't last, after an hour they were back to their old white self.... We all know by now that beauty products (creams that promise a wrinkle free life, stretch mark free) have more effect on our morale than on our skin. It's been like 5 hours now since i used Dermactin and they are still hardly visible. I have also bought the Dermactin Dark Circle cream, but i suppose that one needs more than a one time use in order to see the results. My advice: buy Dermactin, even if it's just to smooth the skin (it really gives a younger, smoother look) I'll be back with reviews for the Dark Circle Treatment.
