Stretch marks and Tretinoin (Retin-A)...

Can stretch marks be removed with Tretinoin treatment?

Some studies...

have shown that Tretinoin (Retin-A) works, others that it does not.

Research is ongoing. It is a cream that is rubbed into the marks. It cannot be used in pregnancy as it is unsafe for your baby, and it is not yet known whether it is safe while breastfeeding so by the time your baby is weaned it might be too late to treat it in this way. Discuss with a dermatologist.

Retin-A works to improve the quality of the collagen and elastin itself so does not change the sagging of the damaged skin itself and so the texture of the skin is unlikely to improve.
